Bula means life.
In Fiji, bula is hello, welcome and cheers all at once — it's what you say as you raise a shell of kava. We liked it so much we said it twice.
For centuries, people have gathered around botanical drinks: kava shared from a communal bowl in the Pacific, leaf tea brewed across Southeast Asia, tea houses from China to Morocco. The drinks were never the whole point. They were the reason people sat down together.
BulaBula brings that tradition to Lakewood in a form you already know — a café. A warm room, a long bar, and drinks that relax the body and ease conversation, with no alcohol and no pressure.
